Melissa was absolutely AMAZING as our doula! I had never even heard of a doula until my good friend recommended getting one for our first baby. It was very important to me to try to have a natural, unmedicated birth, and as soon as I met Melissa and learned about her approach and background in the Body Ready Method, I knew she was the right person to have by my side throughout my pregnancy and birth journey.
She has such a warm personality and provided guidance, encouragement, and positivity throughout my entire labor. She has incredible knowledge in understanding the body and different movements to help progress labor. I ended up having a really long labor that ultimately ended in a C-section, and she was incredible throughout the entire process, even though it didn't go according to our birth plan. She talked me through every hard decision, and I'm not sure if I would've been able to get through it without her! I looked to her for support and guidance through every challenge during labor, and I valued her opinion so much during those difficult moments.
She was always responsive to my questions and provided both prenatal and postpartum support that is truly unmatched. I would 100% recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a supportive, knowledgeable birth partner. :)
