In the 40 weeks and 2 days my wife was pregnant I must have heard every recommendation possible from friends and family. The scary part is the sum of those recommendations would have required to pack so much, I’m not sure how the kitchen sink would have fit in my car. Turns out, you can pack all that or you can replace it all for 1 Albina.
This is our first child and if we are lucky, Albina will be meeting her siblings in the years to come. Not only did she set proper expectations, she prepared us for a variety of scenarios as the due date approached.
On the day of labor she showed up within an hour and had an entire curriculum for us. She came prepared — pulled out so many helpful tools and supplies out of her luggage. Honestly, had I not seen her driving a vehicle on the way to the hospital I would have suspected she flew in on an umbrella like Mary Poppins.
In conclusion, if not for the guidance during the pregnancy, labor, and postpartum , and If not for creating the most comfortable environment for my wife during the labor, I recommend Albina for taking the time to capture those moments. I get to relive the day and moment I met my daughter for the first time. Thank you Albina!
