Since she used to be an experienced OB-GYN in China, she has so much medical knowledge. Throughout my pregnancy, she always kept a close eye on how both the baby and I were doing. She also came to my place to guide me step-by-step through prenatal exercises to help my body prepare for pushing. More than just giving professional advice, she was also an amazing emotional support and really helped ease my pregnancy anxiety.
She was always reachable whenever I needed her. My water broke at 3:00 AM, and she picked up my call right away. Her calm guidance over the phone helped me stay relaxed and get to the hospital safely.
During the actual labor, she stayed with me the entire time. She closely monitored my contractions and the baby's heart rate, which let me completely relax and get some rest. When it was time to push, I just followed her instructions on when and how to use my strength. Thanks to her, the whole pushing process went very smoothly and I ended up with minimal tearing.
Even after the baby was born, she continued to follow up and help us out. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better doula, and I highly recommend her to anyone.
