I had a wonderful experience with Christa! Her goal is to ensure that her client's wishes are honored while giving birth and that her client remains updated and supported throughout birth. I felt like those goals were definately achieved! Christa is very knowledgeable about the labor and delivery process, as well as about pregnancy, newborns, how to help siblings adjust, etc. She had great tips for helping my initially breech baby flip, as well as what questions to ask my doctor and the different options I had while in the hospital. She even wrote my son's birth story and made us a meal for our one-week postpartum visit. She listened to me and provided suggestions, but ultimately, always honored my choices. She has background training in mental health which was helpful as well. I definately recommend her! I have three kids, and my experiences giving birth while having a doula were markedly better than my experience without.
