Meredith is an amazing doula. This was our first baby, and it is hard to imagine having gone through this process without them. In the months leading up to the birth, we met with Meredith regularly and always came away much calmer and much more informed about what was to come. When it was time to have our baby, and we got our room at the hospital, it became immediately obvious that the nurses and doctors all liked and respected Meredith, a calm presence, who knew what was needed at each moment, some encouragement, a talk to clarify something, ice. They are also great company for the six hours you spend watching house-hunting shows during your labor. If we have another baby, they will be our first call.
