We had the most incredible experience with Loving Hands Doulas, especially with our night doula, Carol. From the very first night, she made us feel completely cared for. She was always on time, and usually early. In fact, she often arrived 15 minutes before her shift because she wanted to make sure my husband could be in bed and asleep by 10 pm. That small gesture says so much about the kind of person she is.
My husband and I started calling her Mary Poppins because she truly seemed to do it all. She cared for our daughter with so much love and tenderness, as if she were her own. Whenever she brought my daughter into my room to nurse, those feedings often turned into conversations that I genuinely looked forward to. She always made sure I had water, checked that nursing was going well, and was there to troubleshoot anything that came up. During such a vulnerable season, her presence was comforting, calming, and exactly what I needed.
Carol also went above and beyond in so many practical ways. She washed bottles, did a load of laundry, and always looked for little ways to make our lives easier. It was not just childcare. She cared for our entire family.
Before choosing Loving Hands, I compared several night doula agencies. Many had significantly higher hourly rates and did not include the thoughtful extras that Loving Hands provides. The value was outstanding, but even more importantly, the quality of care was exceptional.

Those early weeks with a newborn can be overwhelming, and having someone like Carol by your side makes all the difference.
