When we found out we were expecting our third baby, calling Marianna wasn't even a question — she's simply part of how we bring our children home (she cared for both of our older children). This time she was with us for nearly twelve weeks, helping us navigate the wonderfully chaotic reality of caring for a newborn alongside two older children.
What amazes us most about Marianna is how she shows up exactly the same, night after night, year after year: calm, attentive, and completely devoted to our family. With our third baby, we knew even better what a gift her presence was — juggling a newborn's needs with an older toddler and a preschool-aged child is no small feat, and having someone we trusted completely to hold down the overnight shift meant we could actually sleep, recover, and show up for our other kids during the day.
She has a way of noticing what a household needs before you even ask — whether that's a sink of bottles washed and sterilized, a load (or four) of laundry folded, or just the reassurance that our daughter was sleeping soundly in capable, loving arms. Our older children adore her too; she's become a familiar, comforting face in our home. They would come down the stairs in the morning to her incredible artwork on their whiteboard easel, and she spent some quality time in the night with our two year old who was waking with teething pain.
Three babies in, we can say with total confidence that Marianna is one of the best decisions we've made as parents. She is skilled, warm, and genuinely part of our family's story now. We can't thank her enough for all of the help (and much needed rest!), and we would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a doula they can fully trust.
