Mel was an amazing presence before, during, and after my birth. This was our first child, and despite consuming all the reading, videos, and firsthand stories I could, the reality is that this was a brand new experience for me and my husband. It gave us such peace of mind and confidence to know that an expert would be there to guide and support us. Mel is a wealth of information and just a wonderful energy! I already had a pretty solid birth plan before we started working together, but they brought up new ideas and things to consider (like family values) that I otherwise wouldn't have given thought to. I was lucky enough to have an amazing birth experience, but it was such a relief to have Mel there to feel safe and supported. They definitely filled in some gaps when my husband was at a bit of a loss of what to do! The postpartum visit was also helpful. We went over some baby care and even babywearing. I would highly, highly recommend working with Mel! Thanks so much :)
