We are so grateful to have had Sarah support us through our pregnancy and birth of our first baby! The education she provided before birth was so helpful and supportive, and delivered in a gentle manner. Sarah's calm and relaxed demeanor helped me to relax when talking about the "what ifs" of birth. When our induction appointment ended up in requiring an emergency c-section, we phoned Sarah and she was at the hospital immediately, just in time to be in the Operating Room with us. She was able to stay with my husband as I was prepped for surgery, which helped to calm his nerves as well. In the OR, Sarah's words of support and hand to hold were still just as worth it. She stayed with me in the recovery room as my husband went with baby to the NICU, which without a doula I would have been alone in this difficult time. The emotional support she provided that day and the days that followed in postpartum were invaluable. Again, her calm demeanor in what was a very high stress situation helped to calm us both. We highly recommend Sarah for any type of birth, as well as the postpartum support she's provided since we have been home. You absolutely won't regret it!
