I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with Sarah for the birth of my daughter! As a first-time mom, I was really nervous about labor, and Sarah helped guide those nerves through questions about what I wanted my labor to look like, what I was worried about, and how I could feel more prepared. Even though my labor went very quickly, it was really intense, and Sarah helped me find more comfortable positions and advocated for me when I was struggling to articulate what I needed. She was a great resource for my husband, too, because he was able to focus on supporting me while she offered various comfort measures we might not have thought of in the moment. Overall, we're thrilled Sarah was our doula and we would definitely work with her again for future pregnancies!
