It isn’t often you meet a practitioner who helps you feel totally held, seen, empowered, supported; who is truly the real deal in an embodied way. Ali has been the birth doula of my dreams - I don’t say that lightly!! I truly believe she was brought to me by mom who recently passed, as a support during this most tender time. There’s nothing to big or too small. She’s been a trusted guide in navigating whatever comes up with pregnancy and birth.
I had a totally unexpected, traumatic birth, and having Ali through it proved to be so beyond “worth it” that it’s hard to put into words. She went so far as to change her flight to be there during the birth (!!!), which was crucial in helping me feel grounded; to visiting me later that night in the ICU; to helping advocate and empower myself with holding my baby in early stage at the NICU. She’s been a truly invaluable support person, and part of my birth journey. The informative and supportive prenatal resources, plus postpartum visits (and delicious food) have also been such a treat.
I’m so glad to have crossed paths. Ali is not only knowledgeable when it comes to birth, but truly wise. She has an expansive heart, devotional and full of integrity and care…. all EXACTLY what you want in a doula. If you’re considering working together, do it!!! You won’t regret it for a moment.
