Julie wasn't actually my doula. I had spoken to her to try and arrange a last minute doula for my sister who was 37 weeks pregnant. Turned out the same day I was talking with Julie, my sister ended up getting induced unexpectedly while I was coordinating with Julie. Even though everything was moving so fast that she ended up not working with Julie, Julie went above and beyond in connecting us to the doula liaison at the hospital my sister was giving birth at to help at least get her linked up with a new doula working towards certification. She was so kind, generous, knowledgeable, and helpful that I can just tell the quality of care she offers to her clients must be spectacular.
