Mel was absolutely fantastic! Almost nothing in my birth went according to "plan" but working with Mel helped me feel so much more comfortable with all the uncertainty and lack of control. I felt so much more prepared having learned about all the different things that could happen during labor and having Mel's support and guidance in how to make decisions throughout. It was also so comforting to me to have someone I knew and trusted in the room during my birth besides my partner (it was their first birth experience too!), it really helped take the pressure off them knowing that we had someone there to support both of us. I really couldn't imagine a better birth experience and Mel was instrumental in making that happen!
