Tara was one of my doulas during my delivery at REX this summer, and all I can say is she is absolutely amazing. I had a long and tough labor, and Tara gave me the support that helped me feel confident and secure as she guided me through my contractions. Honestly, it felt like having a mother figure by my side — I felt completely comfortable with her. She was incredibly efficient during the transition to pushing, constantly helping me find positions to stay comfortable and make progress.
I also noticed how well she worked alongside the hospital staff — it felt like a true team effort. There was a brief scare during delivery when my son needed to go to the NICU, and Tara's support in that moment meant everything. She stood on faith with my husband and me, praying with us and staying positive through such a scary time. It was amazing to have a woman of God by our side, holding onto hope with us when we needed it most.
