After a very traumatic first birth experience, I knew it was important to have the guaranteed support of a Doula. Hannah was such a comfort and mama bear during my birth. From our first visit to baby day, Hannah ensured I felt the love every step of the way. Hannah arrived at the hospital very shortly after we did and cheered me on as I attempted a VBAC for 14 hours straight. Between my midwife, labor nurse and doula it was the perfect team. Baby was in a difficult position, so Hannah used her spinning baby knowledge and had me move in different positions every thirty minutes throughout labor. Even with an epidural, she helped guide me. After doing everything we possibly could, my birth did unfortunately escalate to a repeat c section. Hannah was able to join us in the operating room and stayed well into our recovery to make sure we were okay. She then surprised us with incredible photos and footage of my c section. Hannah went above and beyond. If we ever were to have a third child, we would ask Hannah to be our doula again in a heartbeat.
