I am so grateful to have had Sarah as my birth and postpartum doula. Her calm, competent, and nonjudgmental presence is exactly what what I needed. I loved that she was able to answer so many of my prenatal questions, but also empower me to make my own decisions. I gave birth early, during a crazy ice storm, and Sarah did not hesitate to get in her car and get to the hospital to be with us. I felt so supported and encouraged by Sarah during the whole birth process. She made me feel like everything was happening exactly as it should and there was nothing to worry about--I'm not sure how she did it! Sarah helped us postpartum too and that was incredibly valuable to me. Baby had a hard time gaining weight at first and Sarah not only checked in on us but had amazing suggestions and connected us with a lactation consultant who helped us immensely. It felt like she smoothed the way for us during a time when we really needed that. I'm honestly not sure what we would have done without her!
