I met Shana early on in my first pregnancy and I immediately felt comfortable with her, I did not feel the need to even look for anyone else! I was not yet sure what kind of birth we would have but I knew that whatever happened I wanted a doula there to advocate for me. She ended up being so much more than just an advocate! She checked in often and she was incredibly understanding and supportive of my birth wishes, and during my labor she was an actually life-saver alongside my midwife. She gave me a lot of resources to prepare for labor and birth and you could tell she has a lot of experience and confidence especially. My labor was long and exhausting and Shana was there for most of it, she was encouraging and so helpful and she was right behind me holding on as I was pushing my firstborn out! she was amazing and my husband and I are both so grateful for her presence and knowledge!! It was important to me personally to have a Christian doula, and we would hire her again and again in the future, I could not recommend her more!
