Lucy was my doula for my second-born at the end of 2025 and provided support both emotional and mental as I dealt with unexpected logistical stress with my OBGYN and hospital. I was hopeful for a vbac and ended up with a c section and she was by my and my husband’s side the whole time before, during and post surgery.
I also attended her Evidence Based BirthChildbirth Education classes which she taught virtually and found that to be very helpful. I have several friends who gave birth with Lucy as their doula and have always hear only positive experiences. I would highly recommend Lucy as a doula for any birth. She provided a helpful perspective and actually listened to me in a way that I didn’t feel heard by my OB group. She respected my personal decisions and helped me to sort out my thoughts when I asked her to. My delivery was so much easier the second time around thanks to her.
