We are SO glad we decided to partner with Kylie as our doula, our birth would not have been the positive experience it was without her. We were able to call her multiple times in the hours leading up to active labor to help us make decisions that felt right for us, ultimately allowing us to have the most natural birth possible which was our ultimate goal. Without her, we would have likely felt lost and pressured into a pathway that didn't align with our birth preferences.
She stayed with us for 12 hours overnight throughout active labor, transition, birth and the first couple of hours of postpartum. She integrated well with the midwives and nurses, helped us ask questions to make informed choices and advocated on our behalf. She supported my husband to understand and navigate my needs, and provided me with encouragement, pain management options and reassurance throughout.
