Erin supported our family as an overnight doula for eight weeks (8 hours per night, 5 nights per week) from April through May 2025. I cannot recommend her highly enough to any family looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and dependable overnight doula.
As first-time parents without family nearby, her support was invaluable. She taught us how to swaddle, soothe, burp, and care for our newborn with patience and confidence. Knowing I had Erin’s help most nights after long, exhausting days made an incredible difference in my postpartum experience and gave me much-needed peace of mind.
While our baby slept, Erin washed pump parts and bottles and stayed close by so she could respond as soon as he woke. Rather than assuming he needed to eat, she thoughtfully checked his diaper, made sure he was comfortable, soothed him when possible, and brought him to me only when he was truly hungry. After nursing, she handled burping, diaper changes, reswaddling, holding him upright for 20 to 30 minutes to help with reflux, and settling him back to sleep so I could return to bed quickly.
She patiently answered countless questions and shared practical tips that made me a more confident parent. Just as importantly, she was a wonderful source of emotional support. During the many long nights of early parenthood, having someone to talk with, process challenges, and simply share the experience with helped me feel less alone.
Erin genuinely loves babies and supporting new mothers, and it shows in everything she does. She is warm, compassionate, experienced, and reliable. Any family would be fortunate to have her as part of their postpartum journey.
