Working with Winnie during the first 9 weeks of our son's life was one of the best investments we made in our family's wellbeing. From our very first conversation over Zoom, her warmth, professionalism, and expertise shone through, and her kindness paired with clear, diligent communication made it an easy decision to hire her.
As new parents, Winnie's support was incredible from her very first night with us. Between the practical logistics, the helpful newborn tips, and her nightly check-ins, we learned so much and loved having an expert on hand to answer our questions. Her care extended beyond our baby, too — she looked after my own wellbeing, both emotionally and physically, during a really vulnerable time.
Working with Winnie helped us get more quality sleep, supported my physical recovery, and gave my husband more capacity during the day. It was also pivotal for my breastfeeding journey: I'd sleep for 3-4 hours at a stretch, then be softly woken for a feeding session. We'd chat while I fed, and she'd handle the burping, diapering, and soothing afterward so I could go right back to sleep. She taught me techniques for more successful feeds and helped us incorporate pumping and bottle-feeding into our routine, too.
I'd initially debated how much care we needed, and I'm glad we followed Winnie's guidance to start with 4 nights a week and taper down as I recovered and our confidence as parents grew.
If we're lucky enough to have another baby, Winnie will be one of the first calls we make to set up her support again!
