We had spoken to Alex about attending one of her birthing classes but unfortunately due to time constraints we weren't able to make the group class. Alex offered to come to our home and give us a 4-hr one on one class. It was so wonderful and informative. We were able to ask any questions we had without feeling judged or silly. She made sure to take the time to explain things in a way that was easy to understand and showed us lots of videos that really helped see the full picture. She showed us physical exercises to do to help with pain and showed my husband things he can do to help. My husband said to me after she left that he felt so much more ready for birth and gained a lot of confidence from the class. I wish we were able to use Alex as our doula because I can only imagine how amazing she is during the birth process but sadly her schedule doesn't align with my due date. Highly recommend taking one of her classes or hiring her for an at home class.
