She coached me through breathing techniques, encouraged me to get up and move when I needed to, and helped position my body so my baby could get into position. She even transformed the birth room with soft lights and candles, creating such a peaceful environment that helped me stay focused and calm.
Because of Melissa's support, I was able to labor exactly the way I had hoped for much of my birth. More importantly, she made me feel safe, confident, and empowered. Between Melissa and my husband, I truly felt like I had the best birth team I could have asked for.

She stayed by our side, helped initiate breastfeeding right away, offered gentle lactation support, answered our questions, and provided reassurance during those first precious hours.
