Without hesitation, my husband and I recommend Stella as a night doula. She began working with our family when our daughter, Grace, was just two days old and stayed with us for approximately six weeks during those precious but overwhelming early days of parenthood.
As first-time parents, we were a mess those first few days. We had countless questions and uncertainties but it was Stella’s calm professionalism that gave us the confidence we needed to navigate those first weeks with a newborn.
Perhaps most importantly, Stella made it possible for us to get the rest we desperately needed. Knowing that our daughter was in such capable and caring hands allowed us to sleep at night and truly enjoy each day of the newborn stage instead of simply trying to survive it. Those first six weeks are such a special time, and Stella played a huge role in helping us appreciate and cherish them. For example, she stayed up all night holding Grace when she was sick, and she let me sleep and get some rest. That is one of many examples of her support through our time together.
Even now, we continue to see the positive impact of Stella's support. Our daughter has been an incredible sleeper ever since Stella worked with us, and we credit much of that to the healthy routines and habits Stella helped establish from the very beginning.
