She was passionate about preparing us as a team beforehand and that translated to ultimate comfort and trust with one another. Labor and delivery had many hiccups and she was the ultimate sounding board to allow me make the best decisions for my daughter and myself at each turn. She held a leg during delivery and a hand in an unexpected and scary post-delivery surgery… at 1am after 24 hours of nonstop support.
