My husband and I both loved the support and education we got from Amy as we prepared for and experienced our first birth! Meeting with her before birth and talking through the game plan was really helpful, and we also had the priviledge of attending her birthing classes at Embrace Midwifery (ask her about these, this was also super helpful preparing for a first and unmedicated birth). I had a wonderful birthing center birth, but Amy helped us prepare for the wide variety of things that can happen during labor. She was so responsive as we communicated with her in the middle of the night as labor started. Her presence at the actual birth was calm, kind, and she is excellent at anticipating what you might need next. We also really love the photos and videos she got of labor and our son's birth!! We could not recommend Amy as a doula more!
