I am a first time mom and single parent by choice so it was very important to me to find a birth doula. From our first video chat meet n greet I felt very comfortable with Thalia, she listened to my story and wishes with thoughtful insight.
The prenatal appts to discuss labour stages and options was so incredibly helpful. I learned so much and felt informed and excited for labour and delivery. My midwife team was amazing but it felt like I wouldn’t have known what questions to ask without these appointments with Thalia.
I also rented the birth pool from her. The kit was very well organized, clear instructions and it great condition.
When in early labour I was starting to question how I was progressing, too much timing and getting in my own head. Thalia came by and we did a circuit, during these positions active labour began.
I found Thalias support through active labour to be incredibly powerful. My perfect baby girl arrived healthy and calm in the comfort of home. Pure Magic!
I needed to hospital transfer for repair and things a first time mom doesn’t think of… how do you load a baby into the car seat, and what if emergency doesn’t let grandma enter with baby when the midwives arrived first with mom…. Thalia helped Grandma with all of this!
The tea, herbal bath and postpartum care was amazing too. Thalia helped me in so many ways, I cannot recommend her enough. I am really looking forward to working with her again when it’s time for me second pregnancy!
