This was our second baby and our second time using Katie as a doula. So thankful for Katie's help and knowledge during birth and the first couple hours after! She came through with positions to try to help move birth along when a small hiccup arose! Katie spoke up several times, advocating for the comfort of both me and my husband, often small things that neither of us even noticed could be made better! We love her quiet and gentle nature, but a blessing to know she's there to support in whatever way we need! Truly would not want to do it without her, I love my husband dearly but it's nice to have someone with more knowledge when we're both running on adrenaline and to give him a break when he needs it! Also appreciate Katie checking in by text in the weeks after birth, giving advice when there's something that's a struggle. One of my favorite things both times is the notes she takes during birth and consolidates to send over afterward. So helpful when it comes to processing those hours, seeing the time stamps and things from when you were hardly aware of the world around and passing time! Thank you Katie, for all your help, we appreciate you so much!
