Working with Katherine was amazing. She was the first of three doulas we interviewed and I remember telling my husband, I just know she's the one! Her view on physiological birth and shared Christian values was important to us. Her knowledge and calm demeanor gave me confidence in listening to my body and delivering all natural.
We had two prep meetings with her, which were equally helpful to both myself and my husband. She covered every aspect and talked through various scenarios with us, as first time soon-to-be parents.
Her presence and support during L&D was without a doubt pivotal in the birth of my daughter going the way we prayed it would. All my birth plan preferences were able to be met! So long as we are in the Richmond area, I wouldn't do another birth without her again!
