I am and forever will be 110% grateful for my doula (Jennifer). I was scared I had so many doubts not just in the process but in myself. And Jennifer really showed me how to grab the steering wheel in these situations. She showed not just me but also my partner that we have a voice in this matter and it matters!!! I was able to not only love the process of being pregnant but also get in tune with my body and listen very closely and see what my body needs, and in doing so created the most beautiful bond not just with my body but with my baby as well before, during and after labor, and something I will continue to use as a life lesson. I wish I had met Jennifer for my first born because it would have made the biggest difference in the world, my world!! To learn and know my options, and also know that I also have a say in this. Because it is my body and my pregnancy journey. I hope every mom can have a doula just like Jennifer that offers that support and gives you that security and confidence because she truly is a godsend.
