Shannon was an incredible doula! I knew I wanted a doula, and after having her support, I literally could not have done it without her. I felt so prepared for labor, and then when we had to pivot to a planned c section, Shannon filled us in on what to expect and answered all our questions. She brought such a calming energy to the OR and helped me with comfort measures during and after the procedure. She was with me in the PACU after our baby had to be brought to the NICU, so I wasn't alone. She helped me process the emotions of the c section as well as helped with lactation. She was a true advocate for me every step of the way and made me feel safe and secure. I would recommend her to anyone having a child, and would definitely use her in the future.
