Aligning with all of our values and dreams for the perfect birth experience, Renee seamlessly matched all of my and my husband’s energy from the very start. She brought an immediate sense of security into an otherwise very exciting but nerve wracking pregnancy. Her demeanor let us know that she had our backs and that no matter how our birth went, she would be there to support us every step of the way and that is exactly what happened. Though we planned and practiced for our dream birth experience with Renee for several months, our little guy had some other plans when he turned and stayed breech at the tail end of my pregnancy. Despite all of the helpful recommendations for bodywork, spinning babies, acupuncture and a failed ECV, we were left planning a c section to bring our baby boy into the world. Although we began with Renee on a very different path, she was incredible at switching gears and continuing to support us as we navigated our new birth plan, giving us information and guidance through it all. As first time, soon to be parents, we really appreciated how Renee shared not only her expertise, but also really unbiased and truthful information as we prepared to meet our baby boy. She knew just what to do and say to calm our nerves when our son was born and was taken to the NICU for temporary monitoring. Renee was the guardian angel we never knew we would need so much but oh how thankful we were and are to have had her with us through it all. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Renee. If you’re wondering if doula services are for you, I say yes and if you’re in the market for an excellent doula, there is no one better in our opinion. Thank you, Renee, for all your positive energy, support, and guidance. We are beyond grateful and appreciative for everything.
