Because of her support leading up to birth and during labor, I went into the experience feeling so much more confident and prepared than I otherwise would have.
What surprised me most was how quickly Lori became someone we trusted so deeply. It takes a very special person to come into your life, share such an intimate and vulnerable experience with your family, and leave you feeling so connected to them. It’s honestly strange to think that after everything we’ve been through together, she won’t simply be a regular part of our lives.
