At first, my wife and I were opposed to getting a doula and thought we could do the process of giving birth by ourselves. But a friend of the family suggested Candace as our doula and couldn't stop singing her praises. After a little bit of back and forth, we decided to meet with her. Within five minutes of meeting her, we knew we wanted to have her as a doula for our birthing process. She had so much knowledge and experience to bring and when it was finally time to go to the hospital she met us in the emergency room 2 minutes after we got there. She was helpful and attentive the whole time and did all sorts of techniques and pressure points to help my wife through the process.
