Testimonial for Stacy Avalos, CPD
My patient was asking for their doula, Stacy, to come support her early labor. The doula never showed up but was just communicating with the patient's support person and asking for a "picture of the strip." The doula finally shows up while the baby is crowning. Stacy is now telling the patient how to push with many instructions. Excuse me, maam, but the baby is crowning and got here because the patient is already doing a good job. Stacy then manually tries to force the patient's knees together by force and tells me to push her kness together. I politely tell her no and the reason. Stacy rolls her eyes and has a tantrum and makes this beautiful delivery about her. The baby delivers with the next push. Stacy was present for 10 minutes of it and each minute was unhelpful. I strongly do not recommend this doula.
