Bethany is a caring, calming presence that I was very grateful to have at my side during my first pregnancy and birth. Having Bethany as my birth doula was definitely a valuable factor in making my birth experience a positive one. The prenatal visits she provided were very helpful in educating us to prepare and plan for what to experience for childbirth. Bethany’s somatic visits were especially beneficial and brought together meditation, breath work, physical activity, and Filipino cultural aspects to prepare for childbirth. Bethany is knowledgeable about the Filipino hilot treatments and was able to provide these to me to help labor along. Once baby arrived, Bethany’s postpartum services helped me to relax and transition to motherhood. She was always available to provide support or guidance to me and my husband when needed.
