Julie was an incredible part of my birth journey! From the very beginning, it was clear how passionate she is about supporting women (and their partners) and helping them achieve the birth experience they envision. She spent so much time getting to know me, understanding my birth preferences, answering my questions, and making sure I felt informed, confident, and supported every step of the way. I also really liked the exercise videos she sent me each week of pregnancy.
When I went into labor, Julie happened to be attending another birth, so I ended up working with her backup doula (I knew this could be a possibility). Even though I had never met her back up I knew Julie would have the perfect one and she made the transition completely seamless. Julie had prepared her backup so thoroughly that my husband and I felt fully supported, and she was absolutely wonderful—calm, knowledgeable, and exactly what I needed during labor.
What stood out most was that Julie’s care didn’t end after my delivery. She checked in with me after my birth and was genuinely excited and happy for me. I am so grateful for her support and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, experienced, and truly passionate birth doula.
