To say the very least, Tatiana has been absolutely amazing. If you're looking for someone to be direct, upfront, and getting things accomplished while also being loving, gentle, and kind, she is the doula for you. As a first time mom, I was terrified to go into the birthing process unmedicated. I had no idea what to expect, what even labor truly was, or how to prepare. Being overwhelmed with everything, I was struggling with reaching out for help and felt like I was fighting a losing battle before I even gave birth. Tanya, however was my light at the end of the tunnel. She checked in constantly, always meeting me with compassion even if it had been a week since I responded. She answered every single question I had with raw honesty, never buttering anything up. Even to this day, 4 months post partum, she still checks up on our little family! When I went into labor and my husband didn't know what to do (and neither did I, all I remember was feeling like a wild animal) she was doing everything she could to help over text until she could get to us in person. If it wasn't for her, I don't think I would've been able to succeed with a natural birth. There were so many moments where I felt like I needed to give up, but she stood strong and gave me everything I needed in the moment without me even asking. I can't sing my praises enough for this amazing woman, if and when I get pregnant again, I am immediately letting her know so we can go through this experience again together.
