Yvette was a life-saver. I don't know how I would have survived the first few months post-partum without her. Yvette was fantastic in so many ways -- she's organized and professional, always arrived a few minutes before her shift started and greeted us with a warm, calm smile. Not only was she amazing with our newborn, but she was also an incredible support to me. When she arrived in the evenings I would often chat with her about how our day went, ask her lots of questions and share any concerns I might be having about the baby (which was very often!) She is extremely knowledgeable and always gave me great advise. She even caught my mastitis within a few hours of it coming on and also caught our babies thrush early too, saving us from so much suffering and discomfort! Beyond her decades of experience and depth of knowledge she was a wonderful, kind presence to have in our home during a very intense and vulernable period of life. She will be my first phone call when/if I get pregnant again!
