Kaylen was my postpartum daytime doula once per week for 4 weeks. At first, I did not know whether I'd need a daytime doula after the birth of my first child, but once I met Kaylen in person, I knew I had made the right decision.
She immediately made me feel at ease and cared for. Not only did she listen to all of my postpartum thoughts, she also offered her extensive knowledge of baby development, maternal mental health, nutrition, pumping and milk storing logistics, breastfeeding, etc. she also cooks amazing meals that I still dream about... her beef meatballs are to die for! :) There was also one day where I needed some time to myself after a tough night and morning. She watched the baby and cooked while I went out to get some air and a foot/back rub. She was so flexible and seemed to know exactly what I needed. I'd absolutely recommend Kaylen to anyone during this very sensitive postpartum time.
