My husband and I are so grateful for the support Hannah provided during our pregnancy and labor. As first time parents, we had many questions and Hannah was always available to provide research-backed information to help in our decision making. We chose a natural birth plan for a hospital setting, and Hannah was such a calm, encouraging, and supportive presence for the entirety of our baby’s birth. My husband and I were able to stay focused on the baby and one another during labor, as Hannah worked tirelessly to set up different birthing areas in the room, offer suggestions for labor and pushing positions, ensured I was hydrated, and captured some beautiful, meaningful photos of us during labor. Overall, Hannah took care of all the “unseen” pieces of labor that as first time parents, we feel was instrumental to our positive birth experience. While we haven’t booked Hannah as a postpartum doula yet, we love that if we need support going forward, or even if we have another baby in the future, we have someone we whole heartedly trust to help our family.
