Erin worked with us for six weeks when our daughter was born in July 2025. I highly recommend her night time doula services. Erin was professional, dependable, and a calm and nurturing presence during those tough early newborn weeks. She brings a wealth of experience in feeding, sleep, and soothing practices and I learned so much from her, even though this was my second child. Erin helped me with breastfeeding and latching early on and then she also helped manage the transition to pumped milk in bottles (which helped me get more sleep!)
Erin's baby-led approach to feeding and sleep was really refreshing and helpful for our family. She encouraged us to be mindful about our feeding practices and to help baby to eat as much as possible during the daytime hours, leaving nighttime feeds to the baby's natural wake schedule rather than waking her up overnight at a set time. I was amazed at how well this method worked, and we had no issues with weight gain or 'missed feeds'. As a newborn, baby was sleeping 5-6 hours in a row as early as 3 or 4 weeks of age! Erin also suggested some adjustments to my diet that helped with indigestion and other tummy issues (baby was 100% breastfed at this time).
In the first few weeks I was often up feeding the baby, so I also got to talk with Erin a lot about her background and experience working with babies from many different types of families. She shared a wealth of her own parenting knowledge and additional resources for me to read on my own. Erin was very respectful of our preferences and was good company during the late nights. Whether you plan to breast feed, forumla feed, or both, whether you are a first time or experience parent, you will benefit from having Erin on your team!
