I spoke with several doulas but from the moment I met her, I knew she was the one. She had this incredible strength paired with a gentle spirit. All through my pregnancy everytime I had a question she was there, every step of the way helping me understand. I was in labor for 60 hours. She finally got to go home after being in the hospital for days and then I called her at 2 a.m. in tears, facing an emergency C-section she rushed to the hospital barely sleeping. A C-section was the last thing I wanted so over the next day we did everything we could to avoid it, but in the end my body just couldn’t deliver. Danielle cried with me and helped me see how strong I was. She made my birth truly an incredible experience. Even in surgery she didn't leave my side and felt all the emotions I was feeling. She felt like family. I love her, and I will always be thankful for having her in my life.
