Throughout pregnancy and even postpartum, Emerald checked in with us frequently and continued to answer every question. During my 36-hour labor, things did not go exactly according to plan, but Emerald was absolutely incredible. She helped facilitate our birth preferences while also calmly explaining options, answering questions, and helping us process decisions as circumstances changed. Her presence during labor was grounding and calming. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional, but also so approachable, genuine, and real — exactly the kind of person you want by your side during such a vulnerable and important experience.
