During labor, Grace communicated our previously discussed plans with the care team which allowed me to fully focus on labor. Her reassuring presence gave me the confidence to make decisions based on what felt right for me in the moment, rather than giving in to what was being asked of me out of fear of being seen as difficult.
Thanks to her guidance, encouragement, and use of techniques like Spinning Babies and positioning support, we achieved the VBAC I had so desperately desired. We truly couldn’t have done it without her.
