I'm extremely disappointed with service provided. I paid Meredith via Zelle $1900 (first installment of the total $3800) for doula services and initially communication seemed promising, but after payment was made, responsiveness declined significantly and eventually stopped altogether. The agreed-upon services were not provided, and repeated attempts to communicate and resolve the issue privately were unsuccessful.
For something as important and vulnerable as pregnancy, birth, and postpartum support, reliability, professionalism, and communication are essential. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect those expectations. I'm growing really anxious as I approach 36 weeks, but am quickly realizing that I'll be on my own. As if pregnancy isn't stressful enough, I now have to deal with this financial loss at a time where the services were really needed as it's my first time.
I’m sharing this to help other families make informed decisions when selecting support during such an important time.
