Wow, it took me a while to write this review because a newborn keeps you very busy! But we truly cannot thank Melanie enough for everything she did for me during my birth experience.
When I decided to hire her, I knew she would be an incredible support, but I had no idea just how impactful she would be until she was there with us in those moments. Because of her support, the doctors did not succeed in pushing the C-section they repeatedly suggested, and I was able to achieve the birth experience I had dreamed of.
Melanie was our advocate every step of the way. She fought for us until the very end — not only medically, but spiritually as well. God moved in such a special way throughout my labor, and I truly believe Melanie’s constant prayers played a huge role in that.
She never left our side and was attentive to every detail, helping us make informed decisions that aligned with the birth plan we had carefully established. Even after birth, she continued caring for us from home and supported us through breastfeeding, which has been the most challenging part of my postpartum journey.
I wholeheartedly recommend Melanie for her extensive experience as a Doula. There is no doubt that she will walk alongside you, honor your birth plan, and support you every step of the way. Beyond that, she became a wonderful friend to our family and continues to guide us to this day.
