Working with Chris as my doula was a wonderful experience. She was truly indispensable when it came time for labor. As a second time mom, my contractions came very fast and we had to rush to the hospital. Chris was there in no time and immediately put me at ease. Her suggestions for different movements, positions, breathing techniques, and pressure relief made such a big difference for my positive, unmedicated birth. It was my wish to try going unmedicated my second time giving birth and Chris helped give me the confidence to make that happen. She was also a great advocate in helping navigate conversations with the doctors and nurses and I always felt she had my back. I could not have wished for a better doula.
