We welcomed our first child in September 2025 and were so fortunate to work with Meema Spadola for the first 6 weeks of our daughter's life. Being first time parents and without immediate family nearby, we really were intimidated by how little we knew. Meema took time to get to know us ahead of our daughter's birth and was such a warm presence for us during those early weeks at home. Every session we had with Meema was informative - she supported us wherever we felt we needed help, from learning how to bathe our newborn to teaching us a variety of ways to hold her, how to use our baby carriers, how to use my breast pump and she provided nurturing care to me during those early postpartum days, making me lactation snacks, showing me how to use a sitz bath, and even massaging my swollen feet. Having Meema for the first few weeks of our daughter's life gave us great comfort and Meema was always very responsive to any and all questions we had (both during our sessions and via text between sessions!)
It is an understatement to say that we feel grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Meema. The beginnings of parenthood would not have been the same without her and I can wholeheartedly recommend her to any and everyone.
