If you’re pregnant and looking for a doula, I really can’t recommend Barbie enough.
She supported me through my second pregnancy and time in L&D, and I honestly wish I had found her the first time around too. She checked in constantly, sent weekly updates about what was going on with baby and my body during each stage of pregnancy, and always felt available for any questions I had!
She’s incredibly knowledgeable about birth, breastfeeding, and postpartum, but more than that, she’s just someone you genuinely want in your corner during such a vulnerable time. Flexible, calming, easy to talk to, and so supportive without ever feeling pushy.
You can tell she truly cares about the families she works with, and this community is lucky to have her. She’s built such a great network and continues to be invaluable resource for parents far beyond birth.
My only regret is not having her as my doula with my first baby!
